We had a great weekend with lots of parties, I am astonished I am not tired, it was actually quite nice weekend. Now I have a crazy week ahead of me, I am glad things seen under control. Matty's birthday is almost ready to go, need to get all the little lollie bags ready and make some brigadeiro (little chocolate deserts, yum). My birthday is also all set, I will have a joint party with a close friend who also has her birthday this week. We are going to have a girls night out on Friday night, looking forward to that! It is also the last week of school, which in a way is such a relief for me, it has been a tough year for Matty and we didn't do so well, so I am looking forward to having proper holidays and start fresh next year. I have more to say, but not enough time :P lets just share this weeks free template based on Pencil Lines Sketch 165:

I find it hard sometimes to scrap winter themed kits and photos when it is hot in this side of the world. But the weather has been so crazy lately I cant even tell if it is summer or winter. Scorchign days followed by rainy and cold days. No wonder everyone is sick. Anyway, got a photo of Matty out of a frame (cause my printer is still broken), and scrapped the great time he had at the snow fields in Treadbo using the Frosted collection by Michelle Coleman. I made this layout for the Fancy Pants blog:

Here is a little close up of the title (Lotsa Letters chipboard alpha painted with a salmon colour and I made the "melting snow" with a white pen):

The acrylic heart is also from Fancy Pants. Don't the snow theme and acrylic go perfectly together?

and that snow man is almost as cute as my boy :)

This layout reminds me I have a great acrylic mini album to share with you, maybe next week and I don't get swallowed by all the commitments of this time of the year, I have 4 birthdays to attend over the next 7 days and that includes mine :) See you on Sunday with another Pencil Lines template (which I know will be ready because it is DONE hehehe)

My printer is driving me insaaaane. It is printing everything with black splats and I have been "creatively" covering it up but I am starting to get sick of it. Try to catch on all my latest layouts where the black splotch was and what I used to cover it up hehehe, at least someone might find that fun ;)

I am not really happy about the white border, and with the magic of digital I removed it to see if I was right:

I actually like the page without the border better and will think twice before playing like that again :P

This little boy is sick at the moment, I couldn't get a doctor's appointment for him today so I hope he holds up until his appointment tomorrow, I don't want him to end up in the hospital again, I am praying really hard for that. I wish I could figure out what is causing his asthma to flare up like this, there are so many things to consider....

Anyway, working on the calendars now, will have lots of products + freebies soon :)

Quick page share for the One Little Word challenge blog, the prompt this week is invincible:

Created with my new kit and paper pack :D

My boys are soft little things, they don't think they are invincible at all, so I was at a loss for this word prompt until I saw the quote “In the depths of winter I finally learned there was in me an invincible summer” by Albert Camus. LOVE it! I was going to scrap a photo of myself, but I have so many cute photos of Matty I want to scrap I ended up using his. Can someone please convince me to stop taking these "just for fun" photos? I have too many to scrap now LOL delicious photos xoxo

Love it when things come together so nicely (and quickly), and this was totally sticker based ;) and doodles, trying to make things a little less bulky so they will fit in the albums :P

It still has it's little details:

the green strips is one long sticker I cut into little pieces. I also doodled around the paper tags and alphas.

First, personal news, Matty is doing well and went happily to school today, well, not so happy as he wanted to stay home, he said he was "still sick", but momma knows best. From what I could tell he was a happy chap once we got there. As to what caused his allergy... no idea. Going to try giving him so carrots this week to get this off my mind. Talking about my mind...I had a massive headache yesterday, thankfully I feel much better now, just have to catch up with everything I haven't done in the last 24 hours, amazing how things pile up. At least I caught up with sleep, I don't remember the last time I slept 12 hours like I did last night, but something tells me my body needed it.
