Sketch 137 is up on the Pencil Lines blog and here is this week's free template:
In my page this week I did something I have been doing a lot in paper scrapping, and that is being creative with my alphabet supplies. I am so sorry to use them, I love big titles and it always feel like my alphabets are about to end (even though really I am far from running out). One thing I love doing with chipboard alphas is using the leftover packaging(and I think it can be done with some sticker alphas too). I do it even before I use the actual alpha. I cut out my letter from the chipboard sheet like so:
(these are Fancy Pants "Say it simple" chipboard alphabet)
Here is my page for this week and how I incorporated my "leftover" alpha, love the stencil effect:
Latest Fancy Pants goodies including the Kraft cut paper and the notepaper from the 5x8 Delight Notebook Journal.
I also used some old favourites from fancy Pants, like the Sweet Pea die cuts(crown) and papers (used to spell "sweet" cut up using the sizzix); and the rough and tough & sweet and pretty buttons. Here are some close ups:
Yes, that's my adorable niece and my boys, my first page with her. This is going to be fun :D
I am happy I got some paper scrapping done, I missed it! But I still want to finish my 2008 album, so expect more digital pages soon!
